Wash your swimsuit in fresh cold water. Even better is to let your suit soak in a bowl for about 20 minutes before adding a small cap of gentle detergent specifically made for swimwear or a gentle hand soap with no moisturizers. ​ 2. Work the water with the soap gently through the entire swimwuit and make sure to rinse all the soap out in cold water. 3. To let your swimsuit dry, lay it flat on a towel in the shade. Be carefull not the hang the swimsuit or ring it out because that could cause wear and stretching to the delicate fabric. Never wash your swimsuit in the washing machine, not even on the delicate hand-wash cycle. These temperatures are very hard to regulate and the detergents are way too strong for the delicate fabrics. Also make sure your swimsuit is completely dry before putting it away. Sun cream, tanning oils and chlorine can discolor and even damage the swimsuits, so try to limit exposure of these products to the swimsuits. Also be cautious for rough surfaces as this can cause snagging and pulling of the fabric.If you take appropriate care for your Swimwear it will be the best way to ensure that it will not deteriorate in an unfortunate manner. ​ The fabrics used in our swimwear is 80% nylon and 20% spandex.
